Sales Specialist

About the role

AMB Retail Group, a multi-brand retailer operating concepts such as Mazen Pharmacy, Mamas & Papas, Toytown, The Toy Store, King Jouet, Prenatal, Cherry, Discounter and Al Dikkanji, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist in Beirut. The role welcomes customers, understands their needs and gives product recommendations that support a positive shopping experience and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the sales floor, demonstrate product features and handle inquiries
• Process transactions accurately and recommend products
• Help maintain store displays and ensure stock availability
• Support promotional activities and collaborate with the store team
• Take part in basic sales reporting and contribute to a clean, organized and safe retail environment

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, marketing or a related field is beneficial
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred; knowledge of pharmacy, baby products or toys is an advantage
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proven sales skills: identifying customer needs, recommending products and closing sales ethically
• Training and sales management skills, such as supporting onboarding of new staff and helping achieve sales targets
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for point-of-sale systems and simple sales reports
