Sales Consultant – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Beirut focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities for MetLife’s insurance and financial protection products. The Sales Consultant will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and guide them through the application and enrollment process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the insurance and financial protection market.
• Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and present MetLife’s products and solutions.
• Prepare tailored proposals and guide customers through the application and enrollment process.
• Maintain strong client relationships, follow up on inquiries, and provide ongoing service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and keep accurate records in internal systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to refine sales strategies and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional, customer‑facing environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in insurance, financial services, or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beirut, manage a pipeline of prospects and organise daily activities efficiently.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality.
• Own a car (mandatory for the role).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline (BACC 2 mandatory).
