Commercial Procurement Specialist

About the role

Africell is seeking a Commercial Procurement Specialist to join its Beirut Connect Hub. You will manage procurement activities for a wide range of commercial and non‑technical categories, ensuring that the company obtains the best value while supporting its mission of delivering affordable mobile connectivity across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and validate purchase requests, confirming specifications, budgets and approvals.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate supplier quotations and create commercial comparison sheets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and warranties with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders through the ERP system and monitor order acknowledgment, production, delivery and documentation.
• Maintain supplier, pricing and procurement databases, and identify new suppliers to increase competition.
• Support supplier registration, onboarding and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with finance, logistics, HR, marketing and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve commercial issues.
• Prepare procurement reports, monitor contract renewals and ensure compliance with Africell policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial procurement or purchasing, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
