Catering Sales Manager – Tripoli

About the role

Hallab 1881 is looking for an experienced Catering Sales Manager to lead its catering sales team in Tripoli, Lebanon. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, developing new business, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring seamless hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales plans with the Catering Manager to meet revenue and business‑development goals.
• Supervise the sales team, allocate inquiries, and manage VIP and complex requests.
• Monitor response times, maintain accurate records in the shared sales sheet and ERP system.
• Review proposals and orders for appropriate menus, pricing, and event requirements.
• Support negotiations, close bookings, and manage strategic accounts.
• Coordinate with production and operations to confirm feasibility, staffing, equipment, and logistics.
• Communicate bookings, changes, cancellations, and special requests promptly to internal teams.
• Oversee event reconfirmations, tastings, and ensure final sales orders reflect all updates.
• Develop new business, strengthen client retention, and monitor prospecting activities.
• Coordinate deposits and outstanding payments with accounting.
• Review client feedback, resolve complaints, and improve the client experience.
• Coach, evaluate, and recommend training or recruitment for the sales team.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and report sales results and forecasts.
• Attend events to maintain customer relations and gain insight into service flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of catering or hospitality sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
