Business Development Consultant

About the role

JP-Legal is seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive growth of its legal services portfolio within the B2B sector. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored legal solutions to corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target, and prospect potential business clients across various industries who could benefit from JP‑Legal’s corporate and commercial legal services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring client satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
• Understand each client’s unique legal needs and present customized solutions, leveraging the firm’s full range of services.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, tracking leads and opportunities in the CRM.
• Lead contract negotiations, ensure pricing compliance, and close sales deals.
• Collaborate closely with the legal team to guarantee smooth service delivery for new clients.
• Provide market insights on trends, competitor activity, and client demands to inform product development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in consultancy or professional services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills with senior‑level stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
• Highly organized with excellent time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
