Tendering & Proposal Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Tendering & Proposal Specialist to join Averda’s team. In this role you will lead the preparation and coordination of high‑quality, compliant tender submissions for waste management and environmental services projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and support the submission of tender and bid proposals for waste management and environmental services contracts.
• Manage tender activities including pre‑qualification, document preparation, proposal writing, client correspondence and clarifications.
• Draft and edit technical and administrative proposal content in English and review Arabic content when required.
• Gather and incorporate technical, commercial and administrative inputs from internal departments.
• Maintain company registrations and vendor profiles on public procurement portals and e‑tendering platforms.
• Keep tender documentation, records and checklists to ensure compliance with client requirements and submission deadlines.
• Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement of the tender process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences or a related field.
• Certification or training in bid management, tendering or proposal management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the waste management and environmental services industry and of public procurement processes.
• Familiarity with GCC government procurement portals and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good command of Arabic; good written and spoken French.
