Tendering & Proposal Specialist – Waste Management

About the role

Join Averda as a Tendering & Proposal Specialist and play a pivotal role in securing new waste management and environmental services contracts. You will lead the end‑to‑end tender process, ensuring high‑quality, compliant submissions that meet client expectations and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and support the submission of tender and bid proposals for waste management and environmental services contracts.
• Manage all tender activities, including pre‑qualification, document preparation, proposal writing, client correspondence and clarifications.
• Draft and edit technical and administrative proposal content in English, and review Arabic content when required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather technical, commercial and administrative inputs for submissions.
• Maintain company registrations and vendor profiles on public procurement portals and e‑tendering platforms.
• Keep tender documentation, records and checklists up to date to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Support adherence to client requirements, company procedures and submission deadlines throughout the tender lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences or a related field.
• Certification or training in bid management, tendering or proposal management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the waste management and environmental services industry.
• Understanding of proposal preparation, document management and tender administration.
• Familiarity with public procurement processes and e‑tendering portals; GCC procurement knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good Arabic and French proficiency.
