Solar Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Solar Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our solar solutions portfolio. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales acumen to identify opportunities, design tailored solutions, and close deals with clients in the renewable energy market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and other lead generation activities.
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand their technical and business requirements.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend tailored technical solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
• Coordinate closely with technical teams to design solutions that meet customer expectations and project requirements.
• Negotiate commercial and technical terms with customers and successfully close business opportunities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients by providing excellent customer support.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and regularly update CRM records and sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in technical sales, business development, or a Sales Engineer role is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into business value for customers.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
