Software Sales Associate (Remote)

About the role

Iron Software is seeking a proactive Software Sales Associate to drive phone‑based sales conversations with prospects across the United States. This full‑time, remote position focuses on outbound calling, consultative discovery, and closing deals for our software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Make 50+ calls per day, including outbound prospecting and follow‑up on inbound leads.
• Research target companies, identify technical and business decision‑makers, and build prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand customer use cases, technical requirements, and buying priorities.
• Partner with a Sales Engineer to present product demos, answer technical questions, and craft tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, calls, tasks, and deals in HubSpot and keep the sales pipeline up‑to‑date.
• Handle objections, negotiate next steps, and close new business.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with prospects on the phone.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable making cold calls.
• Ability to quickly qualify inbound leads and move opportunities forward.
