Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Outbound Lead Generation

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Mazeed’s fast‑growing sales team. In this role you will generate and qualify outbound leads, initiate first contact with prospective clients and book high‑quality demo meetings for our Business Development Managers, helping drive revenue growth across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Source and generate outbound leads through cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach and other prospecting channels.
• Execute targeted outreach to defined ideal customer profiles and accounts.
• Qualify prospects based on fit, urgency, budget and complexity.
• Conduct first‑stage discovery conversations and book demo meetings.
• Maintain a clean CRM with accurate notes, stages and next steps.
• Move deals forward consistently or disqualify quickly when not a fit.
• Coordinate internal hand‑over once a client signs.
• Identify patterns in objections and recurring deal friction.
• Engage key decision makers such as founders, finance managers and CFOs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or account executive roles.
• Strong background in outbound prospecting, cold calling and lead generation.
• Comfortable speaking with founders and senior operators.
• Fluent English with excellent communication, listening and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple prospects simultaneously.
