Sales Associate

About the role

AIHOM-ISTIKBAL is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join its showroom team in Jounieh. You will be the front‑line representative, helping customers find furniture that fits their style and needs while driving store sales.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing personalized service.
• Present, promote, and sell furniture and related products using persuasive arguments.
• Follow up with customers after visits and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships.
• Maintain showroom standards, complete daily checklists, and manage seasonal inventories.
• Implement visual merchandising displays as directed.
• Price items, monitor stock levels, and order missing merchandise.
• Advise customers on size, style, colour, fabric and wood choices; take measurements on‑site.
• Unroll and display curtains, carpets and fabric samples.
• Close sales, coordinate deliveries, and inspect items before hand‑over.
• Report customer feedback, market trends and potential new products to management.

Required profile

• Background in interior design.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar sales or retail role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent selling, negotiation and customer‑service standards.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
• Ability to build immediate credibility with customers and meet sales targets.
• Analytical mindset with knowledge of the furniture industry.
