Microsoft Applications QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a QA Engineer specialized in Microsoft 365 applications to ensure the quality, reliability, and release readiness of solutions built on SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Automate and related services. The role involves functional testing of complete business processes, integrations, permissions and data behavior across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scenarios, regression packs and acceptance criteria for Microsoft‑based applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, negative, usability and end‑to‑end testing.
• Test SharePoint Online components (lists, forms, pages, permissions, SPFx, data behavior).
• Validate Dynamics 365 and Dataverse objects (tables, forms, views, business rules, security roles, workflows).
• Verify Power Apps functionality and complete business processes across connected apps.
• Test Power Automate flows, including triggers, conditions, approvals, notifications, data updates and error handling.
• Validate integrations between SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 services, APIs, webhooks and third‑party platforms.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects with clear reproduction steps and severity.
• Retest resolved defects, perform regression testing and support UAT, release validation and post‑release verification.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and prevent recurring defects.
• Maintain QA documentation, testing evidence, defect reports, regression suites and release‑readiness reports.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional QA/QC experience, preferably with Microsoft enterprise applications or SaaS platforms.
• Strong hands‑on testing experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Dynamics 365.
• Experience testing Power Automate workflows and Power Platform solutions.
• Good understanding of Dataverse (tables, business rules, security roles, permissions, relationships).
• Proven ability to conduct functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end and UAT testing.
