MEP Project Engineer (10+ years) – Lebanon

About the role

The MEP Project Engineer is a full‑time, site‑based position responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, testing and handing over mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on building and infrastructure projects in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Identify clashes, omissions and constructability issues and coordinate technical resolutions with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor site progress, inspect works, verify material compliance and support testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑life‑safety, ELV, civil, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Provide technical input to the Project Manager, support procurement and planning, and prepare progress reports and technical trackers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, site supervision, construction or fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply, firefighting, electrical distribution, lighting, power and ELV systems.
• Proven ability to read and coordinate MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs and method statements.
• Experience working on active construction sites and coordinating with civil, structural and architectural teams.
