Lab Analyst

About the role

The Lab Analyst is responsible for performing analytical methods and testing procedures to ensure that raw materials and paint products meet quality specifications before production. The role supports product development, quality improvement, and customer claim investigations within a paint manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of paint samples using chemical reactions and instrumentation techniques.
• Test raw materials to verify quality prior to production, following approved methods.
• Communicate analytical results to the Lab Manager and replace the Quality Control Technician when required.
• Assist in developing and improving existing and new paint formulas, solvents, and alternative raw‑material solutions.
• Support product compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Investigate customer service claims, determine corrective actions, and respond within defined timelines.
• Follow all SOPs, maintain instrument calibration, perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and efficient.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Quality, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus.
