Integration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable integration solutions that connect Oracle applications with third‑party systems. The role ensures seamless data exchange, automation of business processes, and reliable performance across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP service integrations, adapters, and orchestrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration designs, including data mappings and transformation workflows.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and PL/SQL objects for database integration.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, developers and external vendors.
• Create technical design documents, deployment guides and support documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure integrations meet security, governance and performance standards.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches and enhancement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in system integration, API development or Oracle‑based development, preferably in a banking or technology environment.
• Professional proficiency in English and the local language.
• Experience with Switch or CMS platforms in banking is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• REST and SOAP API development.
• XML, JSON, XSLT and data transformation techniques.
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, scheduled jobs).
• Authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT and Basic Authentication.
• Integration monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Version control and deployment processes.
