Hydraulic Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Hydraulic Engineer to join our Hydraulic Department, delivering water supply, dam, irrigation, drainage, wastewater and sanitation projects. The role involves modelling, designing and supervising hydraulic networks and structures for a variety of client assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic modelling and design of potable water, conveyance, wastewater, sewerage and storm‑water networks.
• Prepare master plans, feasibility studies, detailed designs, technical specifications and bills of quantities.
• Design hydraulic structures such as pumping stations, reservoirs, open channels and outlet works.
• Produce and review design drawings, calculation notes and technical documentation.
• Coordinate design deliverables with other disciplines and the project team.
• Contribute to technical and financial offers for water‑related tenders.

Required profile

• MSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
• Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut/Tripoli.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering consulting, preferably in hydraulic modelling and design.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, manage time and handle pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD.
• Experience using Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with slope‑stability software such as Geoslope (or equivalent).
