Façade Design Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Façade Design Team Leader to head our façade, curtain wall, glazing and cladding design group. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality design packages that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and allocate work for the façade design team, monitoring workload and performance.
• Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, material take‑offs and submittals.
• Ensure all documentation complies with project specifications, contract requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with Technical Manager, Project Manager, Procurement and Site teams.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve design issues and attend client/consultant meetings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and document management procedures.
• Support project planning, risk assessment and resource allocation.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in façade, curtain wall, glazing or cladding design.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, IFC drawings and contract documents.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of façade systems, curtain walls, skylights, doors, windows and cladding.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D modelling software such as Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks or Rhino.
