Electrical Design Engineer - Construction

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our construction team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, code‑compliant electrical designs and supporting the project from concept through as‑built documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret project specifications and identify applicable codes and standards.
• Develop detailed electrical designs, perform modelling, and produce calculation notes.
• Prepare material take‑offs while respecting project budgets.
• Create and update as‑built drawings for executed works.
• Assist senior engineers in drafting Operations & Maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate with CAD operators, conduct QA/QC reviews, and support junior engineers.
• Participate in internal meetings, presentations, and technical communications.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineering degree (Master’s a plus).
• 3–6 years of experience in the contracting/construction sector.
• Proficiency in design and analysis tools, especially Revit.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and design optimisation.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Effective communication, planning and presentation skills.
