Business Development Engineer

About the role

YY ReGen is seeking a dynamic Business Development Engineer to help expand its renewable energy, clean water, and sustainable agriculture solutions across Lebanon and the wider MENA region. The role combines sales expertise with a passion for sustainability, allowing you to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on organically generated leads, qualify potential customers, and arrange site visits and surveys.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
• Build and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
• Represent YY ReGen at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and product demonstrations.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and related products.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with a diverse client base.
• Track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to attend client meetings and industry events as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
