Business Development Engineer

About the role

YY ReGen is seeking a dynamic Business Development Engineer to drive growth in the renewable energy, clean water and sustainable agriculture sectors across Lebanon and the wider MENA region. You will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on organically generated leads, qualify prospects and arrange site visits or surveys.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and contract signing.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities.
• Represent YY ReGen at industry events, trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and product demonstrations.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in renewable energy or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and related products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage a diverse client base.
• Track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Renewable Energy or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
