Accountant – Financial Operations & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The successful candidate will manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support month‑end and year‑end close processes while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements such as GST, VAT, and TDS.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CA preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance standards.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools.
