Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient warehouse management, inventory accuracy, stock control and timely order fulfillment. The role also covers supervising and developing the warehouse team and implementing policies, procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse administration and daily operations, oversee organization, storage and space use, and monitor sales orders through the WMS to coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure service quality, order accuracy and timely delivery, handle damaged products and coordinate insurance claims.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, check goods quality and expiry dates, and apply FIFO or FEFO stock rotation.
• Monitor inventory levels and movements, conduct periodic physical counts and reconcile with the Inventory Control Unit, investigate discrepancies and follow up on returned goods.
• Oversee dispatch and delivery operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate the warehouse team, manage performance appraisals and KPIs, delegate tasks and support training, cross-training and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain; previous warehouse management experience is a must.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of warehouse management procedures, inventory control, stock reconciliation and warehouse safety standards.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
