Supply Chain Planning Officer

About the role

A detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Planning Officer is sought to join the Supply Chain team. You will support production planning by developing production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels and manufacturing capacity, working closely with Production, Purchasing and other cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and optimise inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain short- and long-term production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory requirements and business priorities.
• Create and manage production schedules and manufacturing work orders using Oracle ERP (MPS/MRP modules).
• Coordinate with Production and Purchasing to align supply, demand and production capacity.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages and expired materials and recommend actions to minimise supply risks.
• Perform capacity planning, maintain planning trackers and support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) through forecasting, reporting and trend analysis.
• Execute Oracle ERP updates for approved change controls, including item creation, master data maintenance and system updates.
• Prepare operational reports and planning analyses, and ensure planning complies with company procedures, quality standards and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management or a related field.
• Good understanding of supply planning concepts and knowledge of demand planning and forecasting methodologies.

Required skills

• Experience with Oracle ERP, including MRP and MPS modules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
