UAT Manager

About the role

The UAT Manager will lead user acceptance testing activities for complex banking and digital product projects, ensuring that solutions meet business and regulatory requirements before go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed UAT plans, test cases, scripts, and data requirements based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Coordinate UAT execution across internal teams and third‑party vendors.
• Track and manage defects, escalations, and resolutions to ensure readiness for production launch.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for UAT activities with business units, IT, product teams, and external vendors.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Product Leads to align testing with release schedules.
• Provide regular updates on UAT progress, defect status, risks, and issues to senior management and steering committees.
• Maintain UAT documentation, test results, and lessons learned for future reference.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of UAT activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) or quality assurance.
• Proven experience managing UAT teams or coordinating testing for complex projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and digital products.
• High integrity, transparency, and an analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
