Travel Ticketing Agent

About the role

HMS Travel is a full-service travel management company offering air ticket reservations, hotel accommodation, car rental and travel packages for individual and corporate clients. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Travel Ticketing Agent in Beirut - Ashrafieh.

Key responsibilities

• Handle air ticket reservations, issue, reissue and refund tickets, and manage booking changes in line with airline policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries and recommend travel itineraries.
• Work with reservation and GDS systems, verify travel documents and ensure bookings are accurate and compliant.
• Compare carrier prices and supplier options to find the best value and schedule for clients.
• Provide courteous, efficient service, resolve customer issues, support sales targets and keep detailed records of all transactions.

Required profile

• Strong ticket sales and general sales skills, able to meet individual and team targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a client-focused and professional approach.
• Prior experience in a travel agency or airline ticketing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Beirut and collaborate with colleagues and partners.
• A relevant diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, business or a related field is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reservations and booking systems, including experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus.
• High accuracy in entering names, passport numbers, dates and fare codes to avoid costly reissue penalties.
• Basic knowledge of international travel regulations, fare rules and visa requirements is an advantage.
