STEM Engineer – Project Design & Classroom Support

About the role

CedarLabs is a new education centre in Lebanon focused on hands‑on STEM learning. We are seeking a highly motivated STEM Engineer to design innovative projects for students and support classroom activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging STEM projects for students of various age groups.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to teachers.
• Assist in classrooms to ensure successful completion of hands‑on projects.
• Fabricate project components using 3D printing, CNC machines, and laser cutting.
• Create CAD designs with Fusion 360 for educational projects.
• Design and prototype electronic circuits for student projects.
• Teach basic coding, robotics, and circuit design skills to students.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure its proper functionality.
• Document project designs and produce instructional materials for students and teachers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related STEM field.
• Strong proficiency in coding (Python, Arduino or similar).
• Experience with 3D printing, including slicing software and printer maintenance.
• Proficiency in Fusion 360 for CAD design and prototyping.
• Ability to develop innovative educational STEM projects.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for education and hands‑on learning with students.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Portfolio of previously designed and built projects.
