Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Electric Power Engineers’ Beirut office is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy cloud‑based solutions for the energy sector. You will work with a cross‑functional team to build reliable, scalable software that supports power system operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and release cloud‑native applications for the power industry.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, bug‑fix validation and performance tuning.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, supporting development leads.
• Develop and integrate high‑volume APIs and micro‑services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration and cloud deployment best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software or SaaS development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑grade software in a cloud environment.
• Prior exposure to the power or energy sector is a plus.
