Senior Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth of our freight transportation services. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with shippers and carriers, delivering compelling sales presentations, and negotiating contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target markets and acquire new clients to expand market presence.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Develop sales strategies, market‑penetration plans and revenue‑growth initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver pricing for spot shipments and project cargoes.
• Represent the firm in negotiations with shippers and carriers.
• Attend client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Manage post‑shipment follow‑up and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular review meetings with clients to uncover new opportunities.
• Report periodically to management and coordinate with internal departments.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field (MBA/MSc a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience, preferably in shipping or logistics.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Ability to handle escalations professionally under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with BRM and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in sales reporting tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
