Senior Programme Associate – Shelter, Settlements & WASH

About the role

The Senior Programme Associate will support the implementation, monitoring and reporting of shelter, settlements and WASH interventions in Lebanon, working under the Head of Programmes and Programme Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of humanitarian assistance, early recovery and stabilisation activities in line with donor requirements and IOM standards.
• Coordinate actions with implementing partners, donors, local authorities and beneficiaries to ensure effective programme execution.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports and ensure compliance with government priorities and IOM policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with seven years of experience.
• Proven experience in shelter, WASH and site management in emergency or recovery contexts.
• Experience working with government counterparts and donor agencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, 3Ds Max or Revit.
• Advanced computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Kobo Toolbox and ODK.
• Strong monitoring and evaluation, organisational and managerial abilities.
