Senior Department Store Manager

About the role

The Senior Department Store Manager leads all store operations, ensuring high performance, safety, and an excellent customer experience. This role oversees multiple departments, drives sales strategy, and maintains strong tenant relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong floor presence and ensure seamless operation of all customer journey touchpoints.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, inventory management, visual merchandising, and safety compliance.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, and reporting of key performance indicators.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team, handling recruitment, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants, third‑party service providers, marketing, IT, and local authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA preferred).
• 10‑15 years of experience in retail operations and department store management.
• Proven leadership, high ethical standards, and strong stakeholder management skills.
