About the role
The Senior Bid & Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full tender lifecycle and executing competitive sales strategies. This role involves analysing RFPs/RFQs, coordinating cross‑functional inputs, and ensuring compliant, on‑time submissions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and prioritize tender opportunities; track them in a bid log.
- Analyse incoming RFPs/RFQs, highlight key requirements and critical elements.
- Prepare cost analyses, risk assessments and negotiation strategies for internal approval.
- Consolidate internal and external inputs to produce final quotations.
- Lead client outreach, pitch solutions and acquire new accounts within assigned territories.
- Maintain prospect data in CRM systems, monitor sales activity and forecast revenues.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- 4‑7 years of proven experience in bid management and proposal writing.
