Senior Accountant Team Leader – Brazzaville

About the role

Codimex Group is seeking a Senior Accountant Team Leader to join its finance team in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. The role is full‑time and on‑site, responsible for directing the accounting function and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting and strategic financial planning.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Monitor, analyse and report financial data to senior management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare tax filings.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and auditing practices.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and economic environment in Central Africa.
• Fluency in French required; English proficiency advantageous.
