About the role
The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate fixed asset records and ensuring proper control, accounting, and reporting throughout the asset lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register.
- Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
- Reconcile fixed assets with the General Ledger.
- Conduct periodic physical asset verification.
- Ensure proper asset tagging, classification, and documentation.
- Monitor CAPEX and capitalization of assets.
- Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Relevant experience in fixed assets accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Required skills
- Strong Excel skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
