Sales Manager – Zambia (Perfumes & Cosmetics)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our perfume and cosmetics sales operations across Zambia. The role will drive revenue growth, expand market presence and build strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, pharmacies and other distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, distributors and key accounts, and expand market share.
• Lead, coach and monitor a sales team, set targets and KPIs, and conduct field visits.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports and budgets, and analyse market performance.
• Manage customer relationships, negotiate agreements, and ensure high satisfaction.
• Coordinate product availability, distribution coverage and promotional activities with marketing and supply‑chain teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, support demand forecasting and ensure timely payment collection.
• Present performance insights to senior management and track competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5‑7 years of sales experience in perfumes, cosmetics, FMCG or consumer goods.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role.
• Proven experience working with distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies and retail networks.
• Knowledge of the Zambian market is highly preferred.
