Sales Engineer – Business Development & Technical Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer to build and maintain client relationships, drive new business opportunities and ensure smooth project delivery from contract signing to product hand‑over. The role combines technical knowledge in electrical engineering with strong commercial acumen to support architects, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to generate new business.
• Own the customer journey from contract signature through to product hand‑over, coordinating internal and external parties.
• Identify and pursue new projects by networking with contractors, developers, architects and consultants.
• Prepare offers, negotiate terms and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Monitor project progress, respond to technical inquiries, provide drawings and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with the Credit Controller to follow up on payments.
• Provide basic technical support to architects and consultants as required.

Required profile

• University degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales engineering or business development.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (advantageous).
