Sales Consultant – Insurance Solutions

About the role

MetLife is seeking a full‑time Sales Consultant to join its Beirut team. The consultant will identify new business opportunities, understand customers’ insurance and financial protection needs, and present tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Meet with prospective and existing customers to assess their insurance and financial protection needs.
• Present MetLife’s products, prepare tailored proposals, and guide customers through the application and enrollment process.
• Maintain strong client relationships, proactively follow up on inquiries, and provide ongoing service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to optimise sales strategies and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales consulting and consulting skills to assess customer needs and close sales effectively.
• Customer‑service focus with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a professional, customer‑facing environment.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in insurance, financial services, or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beirut, manage a pipeline of prospects, and organise daily activities efficiently.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and respect for confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of life and health insurance products and local market regulations is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
