Sales Associate

About the role

AIHOM-ISTIKBAL is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join its showroom team in Jounieh. You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through the furniture selection process and ensuring a high‑standard shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing personalized service.
• Present, promote, and sell furniture and related products using persuasive arguments.
• Follow up with customers after visits and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Maintain showroom standards, complete daily checklists, and manage seasonal inventories.
• Implement visual displays as directed by the Visual Merchandising team.
• Price items, monitor stock levels, and order missing merchandise.
• Advise customers on furniture size, style, colour, fabric and wood to match their homes.
• Measure and record dimensions for custom orders in front of customers.
• Unroll and display curtains and carpets for customer selection.
• Close sales, accompany customers to the exit, and coordinate delivery logistics.
• Inspect items before delivery and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Report customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to management.

Required profile

• Background in interior design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or customer‑service role, preferably in furniture retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with customers.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on meeting sales targets.
