Power Systems Engineer I

About the role

We are designing the grid of the future and need a Power Systems Engineer I to support generation, load and energy‑storage interconnection projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to model, analyse and design electrical systems for solar, wind and battery projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop one‑line diagrams, steady‑state, short‑circuit and dynamic plant models for collector systems and substations.
• Perform generation interconnection studies for solar, wind and battery energy‑storage projects, from initial filing through commercial operation.
• Provide technical support to transmission grid interconnection processes and ensure compliance with codes, standards and utility requirements.
• Collect and organise data to conduct preliminary analyses that support senior engineering staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree a plus).
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
