National Project Accountant

About the role

SERVPRO's Large Loss Division is looking for a highly organized National Project Accountant to manage financial administration, project documentation, billing coordination, and franchise partner onboarding for large commercial restoration projects across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Review emergency service documentation, time‑and‑materials records, and final Xactimate estimates for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and revenue tracking.
• Monitor project documentation for billing compliance and client requirements.
• Support accounts receivable by tracking outstanding invoices and following up on payments.
• Onboard partner SERVPRO franchises, manage MOUs, compliance documents, and evaluate franchise capabilities.
• Maintain referral and partner tracking systems and assist in Work‑In‑Progress and EOS meetings.
• Serve as primary contact for clients regarding project status, documentation requests, and billing inquiries.
• Maintain Buildertrend, Xactimate, and other project management tools; coordinate employee travel and per‑diem tracking.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in project administration, project accounting, construction administration, restoration, insurance, or similar industries.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite.
• Experience using Xactimate, Buildertrend, DASH, Encircle, QuickBooks, or Restoration Manager.
