Middleware & Integration Engineer

About the role

Sucafina is seeking a Middleware & Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑wide integrations using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and .NET technologies. You will work closely with application teams, business stakeholders, and architects to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions that support our global coffee supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions with Azure Logic Apps (Standard & Consumption), Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Event Hub, and Functions.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable architectures, incorporating retry, error‑handling, dead‑lettering, and monitoring patterns.
• Develop synchronous and asynchronous messaging workflows, APIs, and connectors for internal and external systems.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for integration components using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Configure Service Bus queues, topics, subscriptions, and implement DLQ handling, idempotency, and guaranteed delivery.
• Publish, secure, and monitor APIs with Azure API Management, applying policies such as rate limiting, caching, and authentication.
• Implement observability using Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor; troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
