Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Counsel to support our Senior Counsels in drafting and reviewing agreements, corporate and legal documentation for onboarding, and providing legal support on regulatory and day‑to‑day corporate matters within our financial and payment services companies. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented mid‑level legal professional with strong analytical abilities and an interest in digital finance and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and revise NDAs, partnership, supplier/vendor and client agreements.
• Review corporate legal documentation submitted by clients for account opening and lending purposes.
• Conduct legal research and monitor relevant laws and regulations.
• Handle legal correspondence, notices and communications with stakeholders, external counsel, regulators and counterparties.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures.
• Maintain legal documentation management and filing systems.
• Respond to internal legal queries and provide practical support across departments.
• Perform additional legal and administrative tasks assigned by Senior Counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• 3–5 years of in‑house legal experience; banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
