About the role

CWB is seeking a Junior Technical Translator to join its patent translation team. The role involves supporting the delivery of high‑quality patent translation services for clients across multiple regions, working under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Follow up on outsourced patent translations to ensure fast and timely turnaround and maintain a calendar of deadlines for all assigned matters.
Check and review templates, layouts, fonts, scientific terms and their equivalents to comply with formal examination requirements.
Translate patent‑related documents at any stage of the patent prosecution process.
Perform any additional tasks required to fulfil the duties defined above.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Translation.
Minimum three years of experience as a translator.
Proficiency in using Trados Studio.
Technical translation experience is a plus.
Strong proofreading skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
