Intermediate Java Developer (Spring/Hibernate)

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Java Developer to join Shelvz’s dynamic team. You will work on building and maintaining high‑performance backend systems using Java, Spring, and Hibernate, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java, Spring framework, and Hibernate.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and UI teams to define and implement new functionalities.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with solid OOP knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with the Spring framework (including Spring MVC).
• Proficiency in Hibernate for ORM.
• Strong understanding of MySQL or comparable relational databases.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
