Integration Engineer – Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an Integration Engineer Team Leader to drive the design, development, and support of Oracle‑based integration solutions for our banking platform. You will lead a team of integration specialists, ensuring projects are delivered on time, securely, and in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the integrations team, planning workload and priorities.
• Oversee end‑to‑end integration lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance using Oracle PL/SQL, DB packages, REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle middleware tools.
• Ensure integrations between core banking, loan management, payment networks, fintech partners and regulatory platforms meet technical specifications.
• Review and approve technical designs, API contracts, data mapping and transformation logic.
• Monitor integration performance, API availability and operational KPIs; manage incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate releases, system upgrades and environment management for production and non‑production systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors and senior managers to gather requirements and estimate effort.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and drive continuous improvement of integration reliability and response times.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integration teams in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of integration governance, API security standards and banking regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to manage critical incidents in live banking systems.
