Health System Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Finance, Health System Department seeks a senior finance leader to serve as the Health System Chief Financial Officer (HS‑CFO). Reporting to the Vice President for Finance – CFO, the HS‑CFO will support health services teams across Lebanon and internationally, guiding financial strategy, planning, and execution for the Integrated Health System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership on capital investments, long‑term sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute the Integrated Health System’s financial strategy, aligning with the university’s mission.
• Conduct forward‑looking financial analysis, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk modeling for executive and board decisions.
• Optimize pricing standards and models across specialties, ensuring accurate and competitive price lists.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to build profitable billing structures, manage deductions, and improve collection processes.
• Negotiate pricing, tariffs, and contract terms with insurers, TPAs, and government payers.
• Oversee charge capture accuracy, denial management, and appeals to maximize net revenue while maintaining compliance.
