Head of Finance – Humanitarian Entity (Beirut)

About the role

A social and humanitarian entity based in Beirut, employing around 400 people, is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function. The role reports to the Support Functions Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Ensure accurate, timely and consolidated financial statements in line with international standards and Lebanese regulations
• Oversee grant finance and donor reporting, including for UN agencies and institutional donors
• Manage treasury, banking, cash flow and currency risk
• Strengthen internal controls and coordinate audits
• Lead the finance side of the ERP implementation
• Lead and develop finance teams at headquarters and in the field

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's and CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred
• 12+ years of finance experience, including 5 in senior management
• Solid NGO experience in grant management and donor reporting
• Knowledge of Lebanese tax and labor regulations
• Strong leadership skills and high integrity
• Excellent English and Arabic; French is an asset
