Group Senior Accountant & Odoo Shared Services Team Lead

About the role

JC Yared Group is looking for an experienced Group Senior Accountant who will own the accounting function across all group entities, improve the Odoo accounting environment and turn Yared Shared Services into a revenue-generating accounting hub for external Odoo clients. The role reports directly to the CFO and covers Lebanon, Côte d'Ivoire, Switzerland and France.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for all entities, including monthly, quarterly and annual closings, consolidated statements and intercompany reconciliations
• Oversee treasury control, bank reconciliations and cash-flow tracking, and coordinate with tax advisors and auditors
• Own the Odoo accounting setup: chart of accounts, journals, tax settings, analytic accounts and approval flows, and lead the migration to Odoo v20
• Build and run Yared Shared Services, developing outsourced Odoo accounting packages for SMEs, defining pricing and service levels, and recruiting, training and supervising accountants and Odoo specialists
• Pilot the Odoo Fiduciary program and ensure service quality and profitability
• Set up internal controls, SOPs and a group-wide closing calendar; provide weekly and monthly dashboards and KPIs to management and support financial planning and analysis

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, group accounting or financial management
• Strong multi-company and multi-currency accounting experience
• Proven experience supervising accountants and managing processes
• French language is mandatory
• Detailed, process-driven, entrepreneurial and able to work under pressure

Required skills

• Mandatory practical experience with Odoo Accounting (v15-v20)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or French accounting standards; consolidation experience is an advantage
• AP/AR, treasury, reconciliations, tax declarations and financial reporting
