About the role

We are launching a new fast‑food restaurant concept in Luanda, Angola, and need an experienced, hands‑on chef to build and lead the kitchen from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and quality output.
  • Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a high‑performing team.
  • Establish kitchen systems, procedures, and food‑safety standards.
  • Maintain consistency and efficiency under pressure.
  • Develop and refine menu items in line with the concept.
  • Control food costs and oversee operational budgeting.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Previous role as a chef or senior line cook.
  • Proven experience in menu creation.
  • Strong food‑cost and operational management abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Willingness to relocate to Luanda, Angola.
