About the role
We are launching a new fast‑food restaurant concept in Luanda, Angola, and need an experienced, hands‑on chef to build and lead the kitchen from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and quality output.
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a high‑performing team.
- Establish kitchen systems, procedures, and food‑safety standards.
- Maintain consistency and efficiency under pressure.
- Develop and refine menu items in line with the concept.
- Control food costs and oversee operational budgeting.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Previous role as a chef or senior line cook.
- Proven experience in menu creation.
- Strong food‑cost and operational management abilities.
- Solid knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Willingness to relocate to Luanda, Angola.
