Financial Engineer – Trading Instruments & Analytics

About the role

Murex is seeking a Financial Engineer to join its Trading Instruments and Analytics (TIA) domain within the MX.3 platform. You will work with a multicultural team that designs, validates, and delivers advanced analytics for derivatives across all asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product support by addressing client queries, analyzing mis‑pricing of derivatives, and coordinating corrective maintenance with development teams.
• Enhance product documentation and contribute to the evolution of analytics solutions based on market trends and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed product specifications, validate pay‑offs and models, and demonstrate new functionalities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with quant development, integration, and front‑office trading teams to implement and test models such as Stochastic‑Local Volatility for FX/equity and Forward Market Model for interest‑rate derivatives.
• Leverage REST services, MX.3 public APIs, and Python‑based testing frameworks to automate large‑scale model validation.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial engineering, quantitative analysis, or related fields.
• Experience working with derivatives pricing, risk management models, and agile development environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to clients and cross‑functional teams.
