Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company located in Jal El Dib, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in accordance with applicable standards and company procedures.
• Support the month‑end closing process by completing required entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin verification.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure balances are properly supported.
• Review invoices, supporting documents and ledgers for accuracy, proper classification and identify process improvements.
• Monitor VAT, Social Security Contributions, WHT and other tax declarations to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and documentation in line with internal controls.
• Proactively identify accounting errors, discrepancies and process weaknesses, and follow up for timely correction.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to ensure data is correctly entered, supported and submitted on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, respectful and professional with diverse colleagues.
• Languages: Arabic, English and French.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.
• Familiarity with accounting systems / ERP.
